• Path: arch/maintained/gcc-ia16
• Build failure during the 2026-07-07 “build all packages for x86_64” private-repo release pass (see repo_release_logs/maintained_gcc-ia16.log).
• Same systemic intra-tree dependency gap as memory/kdstatemachineeditor.md: needs binutils-ia16, which is in this tree (adapted/binutils-ia16, already built+published successfully earlier in this same pass) but wasn’t resolvable by the plain extra-x86_64-build chroot used at the time this package was attempted.
• Should resolve on a retry via the new scripts/archlinuxaba-x86_64-build chroot flavor (adds our own private repo to the chroot’s pacman.conf – see memory/TOOLING_NOTES.md’s update) now that binutils-ia16 is published. Not retried yet as part of this pass.
