akonadi-notes5
- Path: arch/maintained/akonadi-notes5 (Qt5/KF5 variant,
depends=
(kmime5)). Separate from akonadi-notes (Qt6/KF6, depends=(kmime
qt6-base ...)) – see that package’s own memory note; independent
PKGBUILDs, no shared build steps.
- 2026-07-16: confirmed already fine, no fix needed.
kmime5 (the
gap below) is now published in this project’s own archlinuxaba
repo (23.08.5-2) – resolved itself as this project’s coverage
grew, not something fixed in this specific session. Test-built clean
with scripts/archlinuxaba-x86_64-build at its existing 23.08.5-2:
0 compile errors, produced akonadi-notes5/akonadi-notes5-debug
identical to what’s already published (checkpkg reported “the
built package is the one in the repo right now” – informational,
not a failure). KF5 is a frozen/maintenance-only branch, so no
equivalent KMime API-break risk here the way akonadi-notes (Qt6)
hit – kmime5 isn’t receiving the same breaking changes.
Superseded (kept for context)
- Build failure during the 2026-07-07 “build all packages for x86_64”
private-repo release pass. Same systemic intra-tree dependency gap as
memory/kdstatemachineeditor.md / memory/TOOLING_NOTES.md: depends on
kmime5 (another custom package in this tree) – error: target not
found: kmime5. Not a package-specific defect; not fixed as part of this
pass.
