AUR comment: upstream GitHub repo archived (checked 2026-09-21)

krupan (2026-06-21): “The GitHub project has been archived since 2025-12-02.” Confirmed via GitHub API (archived: true, pushed_at: 2025-12-02). Purely informational – the pinned 1.12.2.tar.gz source tarball still downloads fine (archived repos stay read-only, not deleted), so nothing is broken and no packaging action is needed. Just means upstream is dead/frozen – no more releases to expect. No AUR reply posted (see [[python2]]’s 2026-09-21 entry for why).
