• Category: local-install (not under arch/ — plain upstream AUR package, rebuilt only so archlinuxaba/the cluster gets it too). Local checkout lives at /data/INSTALL/simplescreenrecorder.
• Found via yay -Qu on the local machine (0.4.4-4 -> 0.4.4.79.ge73e-4).
• source=() includes ffmpeg7.patch fetched from a GitHub PR diff (upstream’s own PKGBUILD, not a local edit) — fine to re-clone fresh each time per the standard local-install workflow.
• arch=("x86_64") — literal, no $CARCH parsing trap.
• Produces two packages: simplescreenrecorder and simplescreenrecorder-debug. Both published.
• 2026-08-22: first release to archlinuxaba, 0.4.4.79.ge73e-4-1 (pkgrel from upstream AUR PKGBUILD, x86_64 only). checkpkg/repo_publish’s “package not found” messages during this run were expected/benign — first-time publish, nothing to remove yet.
