x86_64-elf-gcc
Not tracked in arch/ — plain upstream AUR package (a GCC cross
toolchain targeting x86_64-elf), rebuilt from a fresh clone of
https://aur.archlinux.org/x86_64-elf-gcc.git into
/data/INSTALL/x86_64-elf-gcc. See arch/scripts/install_only_packages
(local-install category) and [[feedback_local_install_rebuilds]].
arch=(x86_64) only — deliberately NOT expanded to other host arches
like oksh/gameoftrees (user call 2026-08-13/14: building a full GCC
cross-toolchain on i486/i686/pentium4 host chroots “doesn’t make
sense” for this package). Leave arch=() alone if revisiting.
Full GCC bootstrap: expect ~2 hours wall time (build + check()’s
libbacktrace/libiberty native test suites — the full gcc/g++ dejagnu
suite is attempted but produces no results since it can’t execute
cross-compiled binaries; mv: cannot stat 'testsuite/gcc/gcc.sum'
warnings during check() are expected/harmless, not a real failure).
2026-08-13 build
Published x86_64 16.2.0-1 (x86_64-elf-gcc + x86_64-elf-gcc-debug),
plain re-clone from AUR, no local pkgrel deviation needed.
